My name is Attorney Joseph J. Dixon, and I have been practicing law in central Pennsylvania for the past 30 years. When people ask me what kind of law I practice, I can best summarize it as I handle everyday people’s everyday legal problems. I do not represent any big companies or insurance carriers. I never have and never will! The focus of my practice is allowing you to have a chance to have the legal system work for your benefit.

I unfortunately have to report that during my years of practice, I have seen changes in the legal system that make it tougher and more difficult for the average person to be treated fairly. Claims and legal matters, which were routine 5 or 10 years ago, now require an individual to have an attorney to handle. Corporations, insurance companies, and well-off people always have had attorneys handling their business and legal affairs. Now everybody has to have an attorney to help him or her get a fair shake. This is the reality now and into the future.
