Workers’ Compensation

I have practiced in the field of Workers’ Compensation Law for 30 years. I am familiar with the issues that are currently confronting workers. I have also had the background knowledge of what happened in this field 5, 10 and 15 years ago because I was practicing law at that time. My workers’ compensation experience includes fighting to get medical bills paid and fighting to remain on workers’ compensation benefits. I also file claims petitions of individuals who are trying to get on workers’ compensation. I additionally file reinstatement petitions for claimants who were off compensation and are trying to get back on.

It is very common in my practice that cases are settled for a lump sum of money in the form of a compromise and release. Sometimes these settlements involve settling the lost wages and medical bills; other times just the medical bills or just the lost wages. Every case is different and every case has unique timing in the settlement negotiation. I believe if my opponents were asked to who their toughest opponent was, and who is conducting his practice with a high degree of professionalism, they would mention my name frequently.

Automobile Accident and Personal Injury Cases

I have handled automobile accident cases and other personal injury cases for 30 years of practice. I have a thorough and proven method of handling the cases, which allows you to be involved on a step-by-step basis. I am careful and meticulous to provide all clients with all copies of documents and records at every single stage of development of the case. I will unfortunately explain to you some of the hard facts of life about these types of cases. These types of cases are unlike the glamorized Hollywood cases.

Social Security Disability

I have also handled Social Security Disability cases for 30 years of practice. These cases are extremely important because they are often the last safety net our society has for injured individuals. On these cases, you initially have to battle the federal bureaucracy. Most people are denied disability claims at the first and second step of the appeal process. The third step of the appeal process is unique and provides you with a fair chance to win your case. This step involves a hearing at the Office of Hearings and Appeals, which is in central Pennsylvania located in Harrisburg.

If you have a doctor who is willing to say you are disabled for Social Security Disability purposes and if you have the will to fight, I will be glad to fight for you and help win your Social Security or SSI Disability Benefits. To win a case it takes all three of us-you, me, and your doctor.

Estates and Wills

I do handle estates and wills, and have done so for 30 years. I have written many wills for clients from simple to detailed, depending on the client’s preference. I have been involved in handling litigation concerning the contesting of wills and disputes concerning inheritances. I understand the difficulty a client goes through when a loved one passes away. I have been in that situation and understand that many individuals need assistance in handling their grief. It is a simple human reaction and it is often necessary to have legal counsel to get through this time. I am committed to helping people in these situations and will remain committed to do so indefinitely.
